ABOUT US

Born in Montreal, Canada, Eleni Oikonomou's love for her parents’ birthplace drew her to Greece in 1996. Her passion to create and transform compelled her to set aside studies in psychology and in 2001 together with her husband, architect Manos Kalaitzakis, the design duo launched FIORI, a brand characterized by its clean lines and emphasis on natural materials.

Since then the founders have constantly been developing products which stand alone as unique, the core of their work inspired by the simple and honest beauty of nature.

2001 – First shop opens in the Dikastiria district in Chania, Crete.
2003 – New flagship store is inaugurated in Heraklion, Crete.
2010 – Fiori opens its doors to the Athenian public.
